Disassemble a Gateway Solo 2500
Remove 4 screws on the back, just below the LCD hinge.
Flip the LCD wide open, and wrestle the plastic off covering the hinge, power button, and status LCD.
Remove 4 screws at the top of the keyboard, flip towards the front.
Keep digging.
Thank you so much,been trying to figer it out for some time now ,,Iam not real smart sometimes lol,lol, Wonder if you could help with another thing I have a the gateway solo 2500 and it went down and it had windows xp on it,I couldnt get it to work so I took it off and put windows 98 on it now its really slow,,I have the key code for xp so is their anyway I could get it on a cd so I can reinstall it back on.!!
